Here at MUFC we applaud great sportsmanship and comradery and this week we look at two instances of this.

Now Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not shy of the lime light. He is probably the best export out of Sweden since ABBA, has recently used his presence in the public eye to bring attention to those who are continuously overlooked.

After scoring a goal for PSG against Caen in the French top league, Zlatan celebrated by taking his shirt off to reveal 50 newly tattooed names on his body. These 50 names represented an estimated 805 million people who are currently in desperate need for food worldwide.

Some people are very strongly opinionated about Zlatan calling him arrogant and self absorbed. However Zlatan has proven himself a world citizen going above and beyond to use his position to help other fellow human beings.

The Bundesliga in Germany boasts the one of if not the best team in the world Bayern Munich. Well now it looks like they also boast one of the best supporter bases in the world in the VfB Stuttgart (yes that “f” is not a typo google it!) fans. Stuttgart was rock bottom of the Bundesliga when their team took on Borussia Dortmund. Stuttgart lost the game 3-2 with youngster Timo Baumgartl making a mistake costing his team the game.

In a showing of great togetherness and comradery the Stuttgart fans stayed and consoled their players after the defeat. Mainly supporting the 18 year old Timo Baumgartl move on from his mistake.

To Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the Stuttgart fans MUFC solutes you!!
