BRIGHT RED SAP
WELCOME CHRIS MITCHELL
We’re super excited to officially announce Chris Mitchell as our new Bright Red SAP Co-Ordinator and our upcoming free Come ‘n Try sessions this Wednesday 24th June and Wednesday 1st July!
The two free Come ‘n Try sessions are an opportunity for players and parents to experience our program before committing to our Term 3 program (which commences on 20th July). Players born between 2008 to 2014 are welcome to come to one or both Come n Try sessions – see our Facebook post for links to register.

Players who join the Bright Red SAP program in Term 3 will be eligible for selection in our teams attending various tournaments in the September to November period for our teams up to Under 12 age. Players who are currently playing with another club are most welcome and able to join our Term 3 Bright Red SAP program.
Chris has a long playing history locally and interstate, having won senior best-and-fairest awards at Myrtleford and St Pat’s. He was also runner-up twice at Benalla. Chris also played in the National Youth League for the Albury-Wodonga Warriors and represented the AWFA and the Riverina as a junior. Chris is also an award-winning journalist having worked regionally and in metropolitan areas in print and broadcast media for over 15 years, most recently at Nine News in Albury as Chief of Staff and Senior Journalist and is currently studying to become a teacher.
Chris is a father of two girls and is passionate about education and development. He knows how vital it is to keep kids active and have a pathway for future success.
Our Bright Red SAP program is proudly sponsored by McDonalds Homemaker Centre Wodonga in 2020 and we can’t wait for it to re-commence and be bigger and better than ever!
