We are delighted to announce Mick Richards has been appointed to the Board to head up and shape the clubs Football Program for the next 3 years.
Richards will work closely with the clubs Youth Technical Directors (Matt Mills and Matt Brewer) in leading and shaping annual football plans, periodisation cycles and designing and overseeing the clubs football program.
Richards holds a B-Diploma accreditation and will apply for A-Diploma accreditation in the coming 12 months. Richards will link connections with professionals from football within Victoria, nationally and across the globe. More recently,
Richards delivered a Singapore experience for the clubs U13 players that saw players and coaches up against big name Asian and European academies.
Richards is a founding member of Murray United FC who began with the club in 2014 putting together the clubs inaugural senior teams into the National Premier Leagues. Richards’ coaching successes are in Football, AFL, Boxing and training Olympic athletes.
Richards is a highly regarded professional within our region and will play a key role in consolidating opportunities for players, coaches and officials onto domestic and global pathways.
